Description
The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Complementary course is designed to complete the basic training. The course provides a direction and tools for continuous development related to OHS and wellbeing in the workplace.
The training includes a pre-assignment and two course days.
Goal
Target group
Before the course, the participants are required to fulfill a pre-assignment which they get two weeks earlier by email. The idea is to explore and evaluate the main existing workplace specific OHS documents and statistics. Those contents will be discussed during the course.

Day 1:
- OHS management in Finland
- Group discussions based on the preassignment
- Analysis and assessment of hazards at work
Day 2:
- Psychological safety
- Diversity, equality and non-discrimination in the work community
- Workshop based on questions raised by the participants
- Developing the role of OHS personnel
A successful online course requires commitment and presence from every participant. Functioning internet connection is needed as well as a camera , microphone and sound system. Please, give at least your forename when logging in, so that we can recognize all the participants.
Completion of the course and obtaining the certificate requires full presence on the course and completing all the tasks during the scheduled time. Participants passing the course will receive a certification.
If you have an essential need to be absent inform the trainer responsible in advance to agree about the possible compensatory assignments.

More information
We use e-invoicing as our primary invoicing method. No separate invoicing fee is charged for e-mail and e-mail invoices. An invoicing fee of 5 euros (+ 25,5 % VAT) will be charged for paper invoices. If the customer requires the Centre for Occupational Safety to register or submit an invoice to their organisation's portal, a service fee of EUR 15 (+ 25,5 % VAT) will be charged.
Terms of cancellation
Registration is binding. You can cancel without charge at the latest 15 days before the training starts. 50 % of the training fee will be charged for cancellations received after that date. If we are not notified of absences at least 7 days before the training starts, the entire fee will be charged.
Participant can be changed without extra costs. Please inform the training coordinator about the change, before the training.
