Complete the sentences
“There are lots of new employees in the team, and a new operating year is about to start. How can I make the team’s goal-setting discussion efficient and inspiring? How to best bring out the expertise and strengths of each team member?”

Method description
Select the incomplete sentences according to the discussion topic and write them down on a flip chart paper, shared document or in a chat before the discussion, for example:
- meaningfulness of work: I find my work meaningful when… /The most important thing for me in my work is…
- development discussion: The best thing about my job is… /I wish my job had more/less…
- observing change: In this change, I am interested in/upset/doubtful about…
You can also write the sentences in first person plural, for example, “For us, the most important thing about our work is…”
Ask the participants to complete the sentences. Give them a moment to think before you begin.
