The following instructions apply to the disclosure of data from the Occupational Safety Personnel Register in accordance with the Act on the Registration of Occupational Safety and Health Cooperation Personnel that is subject to a charge. 

The Centre for Occupational Safety discloses data from the Occupational Safety Personnel Register in situations where law permits it. The data may be used, for example, for occupational safety and health communications, research and the marketing of occupational safety and health training, products and services.[Rivityskohta] 

The disclosure of data is based on the Act on the Registration of Occupational Safety and Health Cooperation Personnel(opens in a new window, you will be directed to another service). The data will only be disclosed for purposes permitted by law. 

1. To whom may the data be disclosed? 

Data may be disclosed if the purpose of use of the data is one of the following:

3. Which data cannot be ordered separately?

Address extractions are standardised services under public law. Therefore, we cannot: 

Pricing and content are determined in the same way for all customers. 

4. Prices 

A fee corresponding to the cost value will be charged for the disclosure of the data. The pricing is based on the Act on Criteria for Charges Payable to the State(opens in a new window, you will be directed to another service). Thus, the service is not priced on a market basis. The Centre for Occupational Safety must apply the same pricing principle to all customers. We cannot make customer-specific agreements or deviate from the price list.

5. Direct marketing and data protection 

A person registered in the occupational safety and health register has the right to prohibit the disclosure of their data for the direct marketing of paid training, products and services that promote occupational safety and health. The Centre for Occupational Safety is to be notified of the ban. 

The data recipient must ensure that the processing of personal data and any direct marketing is in accordance with data protection regulations and the Act on Electronic Communications Services.

7. Frequently asked questions 

Can we get a customer-specific price? 

No. The fee is a public-law fee that must be based on cost value and be determined uniformly for everyone. 

Can we make a separate agreement? 

Not in this service. The law requires a uniform procedure for all data recipients. 

Can the data be used for direct marketing? 

Yes, if the purpose of use is permitted by law and the data recipient has the right to process personal data in accordance with data protection regulations. In addition, any marketing bans and regulations on electronic communications must be taken into account. 

Why can the same person appear several times in the extraction materials? 

The extractions are produced in standardised format and are uniform for all orderers. Some individuals may have several occupational safety and health tasks, in which case each task is presented on a separate line in the extraction. 

Can we only order a part of the data? 

Unfortunately, we cannot customise the content of the extraction by customer. The service is provided in standardised format.
